Marie opened for business at the Kensington Farmers’ Market today. Although she told me that I was her first customer when I walked up to her table, a later arrival ordered and paid while we were still talking. Today’s menu is listed at quichemarie.com/kensingt… . I tried the tomato and mozzarella as well as the onions mini-quiches; I ended up buying one of each ($5 total). There were larger whole quiches available for $7 and even larger ones for a price in the double digits. One imagines that Marie will sell out by the end of the market.
As you can see from the web site, Quiche Marie is a beginning business that grew out of speciality orders for French-themed events. Marie and her team speak French to each other and presumably learned to cook on the other side of the Pond. The quiches are excellent (try the samples while they last!) and this business is worthy of your business and your support.

Quiche Marie is a wonderful catering company to work with and I recommend it for any of your coming events.
I interfaced with Marie at the last visit of the French President, Francois Holland at the San Francisco Hilton. Her enthusiasm and her smile made me tell her of my coming event.
What can I say after that? She is a joy to work with. The food was delicious, everything was on time, presentation was great and the experience was stress-free.
The nature of the event that I hosted was a three-day conference for 150 people at the Facebook headquarter in Menlo Park, for which Quiche Marie provided lunch.
Marie helped create an awesome menu for our event. She made it as easy as can be. She was very responsive and willing to help every step of the way.

It really doesn’t get better or more authentic than Quiche Marie!
My personal favorite is the Florentine which, as you might expect, includes spinach as well as bacon and mushrooms. Tasty and healthy –and my finicky teenager loves it! Hint: buy a large and keep on hand for easy, healthy after school snacks.

“The onion quiche was like eating French onion soup with a delicious crust. It was six inches tall and looked like a magnificent souffle, not an ordinary quiche. I would never have guessed the crust was gluten free. It just tasted like a wonderful crust.”

I’ve rarely met anyone like Marie-Laure. Her generous and outstanding cooking is remarkable. Having been a guest at her table throughout the years, I know of what I speak. Her quiches are tops!
